• Anti-vibration system - The occurrence of intense vibrations in the handles of power tools can have long-term consequences on the blood vessels in the hands and arms. Recognising this, STIHL has devised an effective anti-vibration system to mitigate this issue. By successfully dampening the oscillations generated by the machine's engine, this system significantly reduces vibrations experienced at the handles.

• Compensator - The function of this particular controller within the carburettor is to prevent an increase in the richness of the fuel-air mixture when the air filter becomes obstructed. It appropriately adjusts the amount of fuel delivered to the carburettor based on the volume of air passing through the air filter. This keeps the fuel/air ratio in the combustion mixture constant and hence also the engine power.

• Single-lever master control - The operation of significant functions, including start, choke, throttle, and stop, is consolidated into a single lever for convenience and ease of use.

• Ematic chain lubrication system - The Ematic chain lubrication system guarantees precise lubrication of both the saw chain links and guide bar rails.
